It's not just hot meals that need recipes - sandwiches can use some sprucing up too! Here is my recipe for a Spicy Tuna Salad Wrap =D
Drain a can of tuna and empty tuna into a bowl
Add in 1/4 of an avocado (or 1/2-1 tbsp nayonaise if you don't like avocado), 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard (you can use yellow, but spicy is better as it is "real" mustard and has more benefits than yellow), 1/4-1/2 tsp minced garlic, 1/2 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 tbsp chopped celery, sprinkle in some red cayenne pepper and paprika, drizzle in some balsamic vinegar. Mix everything together really well.
Place on 100% whole wheat wrap (I like Flat Out! wraps). Add tomato, lettuce, spinach, non-fat feta - whatever you like as your topping. Wrap it up and enjoy! I usually have some carrot and cucumber slices as my side.
When I am doing a slim down or I want this for dinner, I nix the wrap and just eat the tuna out of the bowl =D
There you go - a quick, healthy lunch that is also very tasty! =D
