So this week I participated in the Tone it Up! 5 Day Slim Down. This is something you get as part of their nutrition plan that is a 5 day exercise plan and restricted diet that helps you slim down and tone up right before an event. I don't have an event but my awesome trainers Karena & Katrina were doing it so I followed along!
Today is the last day and I feel amazing. I admit that I had some days when I just wanted to reach for a slice of pizza, but I stayed strong. I'm going to finish strong tonight and am super excited to post the results tomorrow. I've said before I highly recommend the plan, but especially the 5 Day or 7 Day Slim Down if you are getting ready for a special event. The 5 Day Slim Down requires two-a-day workouts - a cardio routine in the AM and a toning routine in the PM. While it's restrictive in the sense of there are some things you can't eat, and other things you can only eat at certain times, there are a lot of delicious recipes and a lot of fruit so you can satiate your sweet tooth if necessary. While I sometimes found myself craving more, knowing it was only for 5 days helped me power through. I especially liked the two-a-day workouts as I am feeling strong, tight, and toned already. My body also got used to the water intake quickly, as I would wake up wicked thirsty every morning.
