So, October is my (and quite of a few of the other TIU Sisters') NO EXCUSES month. New month, new season, and we are all ready to rock it! (The below is information I said I'd post in my Vlog)
I am starting the month off by doing the Tone It Up Plan 7 Day Slim Down.
I am doing it with new Tone It Up Nutrition Plan Member Melissa, who is kicking off her healthy eating strong by starting the plan with the slim down. Since it was my suggestion that she do that, I figured the least I could do was do it with her! For those of you who don't know, the 7 Day Slim Down is a 7 Day cleanse (with lean, clean, green food - no dairy, no grains, but also no trying to live off juice for a week!) - it is similar to the 5 Day Slim Down it's just a LITTLE more intense and restrictive. (See my review of the 5 Day Slim Down here). I am hoping to get October off right and see some results that will motivate me to keep rocking through autumn. Here are my starting measurements taken right when I woke up this morning:
Weight: 150
Hips: 38.75in
Rt Thigh: 21.5in
Lt Thigh: 21in
Waist: 31in
Lt Arm: 10.5in

I got it done in 23:07 - not too bad for the first time. I made it through everything without taking a break except the half cobra pushups, tricep dips, and hove jacks - guess I know what part of m body needs improvement! (Thanks for posting Laura - sorry I couldn't get up at 4:45 with you for the BC but I still did this in honor of you!)
A huge part of the 7 Day Slim Down is water consumption - my recommendation is to find a Water Buddy to help keep you accountable for how much you are drinking, because it's important even when you're not on the slim down! My girl Stephanie (who just rocked a 10miler in Disney - GO YOU!) is my Water Bud and she keeps me accountable =D
Today also marks the first day of my training for a 15K. I have done a few 5Ks now but my goal is a Half Marathon by June 2013, so my first step towards that is a 15K for my birthday in January. I am doing the Hot Chocolate Race (any Atlanta TIU Beach Babes want to rock it with me?) and I am using Hal Higdon's novice 15K training program. It's 10 weeks and I have 15, so I am repeating the last 5 weeks (I was never a distance runner, so I wanted the extra time). I'll be posting how my times improve and what not. Today is strength and stretching, so that will be my 2nd workout for the 7 Day Slim Down today.
I will also be doing another give away soon - some goodies or something Tone It Up related, so stay tuned! =D

Awesome! This is perfect because I'm doing the 5/7 day slim down as well!! It will be great to do it together as well. I need a partner. I'm not an official member of the TIU Plan but it will still be awesome to know that I'm not alone in my efforts.
